Nice scrape on the right hand side of the nose cone and a couple of scratches on the fairing.

Not sure if the nose cone can be sanded and resprayed, but the lower fairing can.

I would like to fit a dark tint headlight lense to my Bandit (removable for night riding ofcourse) but don't want to risk getting pulled. I still see them for sale for other bikes though they seem to be getting rarer.

I received a courtesy bike in the form of a 'R' Reg GS500E which has nearly 20k on the clock which I have until Wednesday morning. Sadly the items they ordered where the correct part number, but the wrong part was packed. It's been 10 years since I was on a GS, and I look like a praying mantis on it. Had to get some other parts to as there was a bit of heat damage ?????? But all done now just have to get used to the new riding position. It failed on dipped beam switch not clicking on properly (DANGEROUS!!) & brake lever not smooth operating. 10 mins fixed it today, small piece of plastic stuck inside switch. Removed that & works perfect everytime. Lubricated brake lever & master cylinder piston all seems ok. yup you guessed it, i binned my bike.

my wrist bloody hurts although the doc says its not broken, and my beautiful bike is a mess. rhs: clocks rearsets my mot can, mirror, fairings, tank, and my top box rack all took a belting. im not best pleased.
