It may be pink but she does look nice you just need to get the cam cover off and paint that pink as well.

Post  Eastcoast cruiser on Fri Jul 03, 2009 7:49 pm

I saw you racing at Elvington the other Sunday. Our local (Driffield) bike club www.osbmcc.co.uk had a ride out to the Vintage wings and wheels day at the museum and called in to watch the racing!

I saw you as your frame stood out! Did you have a bit of a mishap on one of the runs or was that another female? I saw someone going for it then suddenly something went bang and lost power!

it was a good day, but I am still sunburnt from it! The Spitfire fly by was the best! It went right over our heads as we were stood in the car park near the track!

it was a smashing day. i saw the spitfire too. Cool

that was me i think, i aborted a run after being a bit too throttle happy and none too smooth with the clutch hand, always best to back off and start again. don't remember a bang though. it's running a bit rich so it could have back fired?

you'll have to come over and say hi next time. you can't really miss me in my leathers. my husband rides the zx12 with the flame and skull paintjob. Cool

Re: hi!

Yeah!

Not sure if it was you or not. It was a female rider in the left lane. Just watched her get away then all of a sudden she seemed to lose her footing on the pegs, shut off and coasted down the track. Maybe I'm just associating your bike with it as i saw it there.

It was a good day. Lots of 'Busas running!

HI

Post  Jin on Tue Nov 10, 2009 7:36 am

HI Trinity, good to have you here. I've also got a 400 Bandit. After a 30 year break from Biking i'm now struggling to pass my test !! Road Riding is great, i love it , but struggling with the Cone stuff since coming off doing it !! Got a bit of a problem with the Bike at the moment . It's not starting well, sometimes not at all !! Treated it to a new Battery and a Regulator Rectifier and got new spark plugs coming for it, so hopefully things will get better now!! Had my Mod 1 test booked for last Friday and it wouldn't start, couldn't even Bump start it, so had to abandon the idea. My instructor said i could take it on his K*****i, but it was a non-starter (another one-lol!!) as i couldn't touch the ground on it!! Need to get out there and terrorise a few more Cones as my test is rebooked for VERY SOON !! Jin xx
