mcn skegness

taz n davy just back from mcn weekend fri 24th april to monday 27th in butlins in skegness. This was one excellent weekend the weather was brilliant for the whole show.The journey was a bit sore 8 hours in total to get there from edinburgh. We have already booked up for next april, anyone else interested let me know might manage to meet some of you guys from further down the country.This show had a bit of everything rock groups, stalls, stunt riders, steve colley trials, freestyle motocross. All your grub is included. The police took us all out for an organised run on the saturday hundreds of bikes went on this. I think this weekend was one of the best bike meetings i have ever been to.

Sounds like most people are having a good start to their biking this year! I've looked at some of the MCN stuff before, but never been sure about it or known anyone to tag a long with.

I know it's not related, but looks like Durham bikewise thing may be do-able for me now. What are the travel and accomodation arrangements?

I went to skegness last year year and had a fantastic time but could not make it this year due to funds gutted

hi colin been three times to durham bike show now.at the moment there are now ten of us going down from scotland .i have booked 5 twin rooms in bannetynes hotel in durham.the hotel is situated about 2 miles from durham centre.the show starts on the sunday at 9 finishes at 5.taz n davy going down on friday 14 to newcastle for a night out .we will meet the other 8 guys at durham services on sat 15 about 1 ish.once assembled we will all get cabs down to town centre where we should be meeting up with some bikers we met at skeggie last week.if you want to join us colin just get in touch with taz i can check out accomadation for you or give you the number of a hotel.

All those arrangements are fine by me. I shall endeavour to speak with those travelling down on Saturday to sort something out.

Have i to go ahead and book the hotel myself or is it being done as a group?

Also do I need to sort tickets for the event as well?

hi colin the number of bannatynes hotel in durham is 01913846796 .you pay at the gate going in .the charge is usually two pounds only hows that for value.the fee is all for charity so a great cause .the rooms at bannatynes are excellent and they give me them at 45.00 per night .if you have anyone else wanting to go you could double up.if you go that makes eleven little indians lol.let me know how you get on m8.taz
