When I took my fairing off I had a similar problem.Lots of wire and connectors.I gave the connectors a liberal soaking of WD 40 then wrapped them tightly in clingfilm and taped it over, then tucked them under the tank behind the frame filler. Not had any problems.

put mine under the tank like every body else but no tape or "cling film" (i don,t want to know!!!!!) the heat off the engine keeps everything nice and dry ! i,ve had less probs with them in there than when they were in the old headlight ! Very Happy

My only thought on this is the wet will kill the connectors if you dont protect them.

i know what your saying tim but i think if you leave them bear it lets any damp get dried out completely by the heat of the engine
if you wrap them up any damp that gets in will stay in and just become condensation till it cools down again !

don,t hold it in !!!! let it all out !!! Laughing Laughing
