You wouldn't feel tappets through the handlebars they are more a noise. ibration is common in most bikes But clicking?? is the clicking regular If yes i might be inclined to check wheel bearings and headstock bearings as they could be felt if they are starting to go. Might be worth checking the chain over for tight spots as well. Try these and let us know how you get along

I will do Tim. Just been out to test the range of the tapping i said clicking previously but i don't hear anything but really mean tapping its not a vibration only way i can really describe it is its as if i have something in my tyre .As i said its only at a certain rev's 4000 at 40mph and it runs through 4,5,6 gear all at same revs and speed go over it or under it and it disappears. hmmm doing my nut in lol

I'd do a full nut and bolt check to be on the safe side.Something may have come loose.Check under the tank, theres a heavy lump of metal bolted to the frame which is supposed to damp out vibration. Worth checking brake discs as well, they can wear and rattle on the rotors. As Tim said,I'd suspect a bearing somewhere.

Re: UPDATE Tapping feeling through footrests & handlebars
HI Guys
Ok so i have done all of the above . checked bearings Brakes nuts bolts engine mounts chain so there i was scratching my head only bought the bike last year with new chain and sprockets . ha ha So i thought might have done the back sprocket and chain more to the point
. Mickey Oats Glasgow
decided to check front sprocket any way but was sure it would be ok
after all it was done last year My butt . It was never done took cover of there it was sitting there slightly hooked . Boy along the road from me had a spare but it was a tooth down 14 instead of 15 so put it on took the bike for a test run tapping feeling has gone so going to replace chain and both sprockets. then i will know it is ok

Just remember with your bike that replacing it with a 14 tooth one will alter the speedo reading and the miles covered as the speedo takes its drive here and not on the front wheel as the original shape does.
So the quicker you get an OEM front sprocket the better.
